Congratulations To Our St. Louis Cardinals!!
If you are a Cardinals fan than I am sure you are already cheering along with me. St. Louis Cardinals win Game 6 of the National League Championship Series to advance to the 2011 World Series. Betting the Milwaukee Brewers 12 -6 in an amazing series leads them to play Game 1 of the World Series at home in St. Louis against the Texas Rangers.

A Perfect Day For Rombach Farms and Pumpkin Patch
Today we decided would be the perfect day to go visit our favorite pumpkin farm in St. Louis, Rombach Farms and Pumpkin Patch. We love coming here because the activities are awesome, the food smells and taste great and the pumpkin selection is great!. It is such a family friendly place and has been part of St. Louis for many years. Located in Chesterfield it is so convenient if you live in the St. Charles area. You can also check them out on Facebook HERE.
You have to get a picture in front of The Great Pumpkin Pyramid!
Awesome when you can find a friend to take a family picture.
I would have loved to bring home a "big boy". Grace liked the smaller ones better. : )
More fun!
Go Cardinals!!
Hey, where did these guys come from?
You have to get on the tractor!
I think she handled it very well. : )
The end of an awesome day!

Cardinals Ticket Pricing We Could Be Seeing A Change
With living in St. Louis many of us love our baseball and we love the Cardinals. As I was watching the news tonight they talked about how the Cardinals have announced a flexible pricing system known as Dynamic Ticket Pricing. It is similar to the system airlines use to sell seats on board airplanes.
"It really is like the airline model where the farther out you buy, the more likelihood you have of getting the lowest fare," said Dan Farrell, the Cardinals Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.
But Farrell says the price for any seat in Busch Stadium may cost more, or less, than it will on game day. A seat in a certain section may cost more for a Cubs game than it does when the Marlins come to town. And the ticket price for a seat may go up or down depending on the day of the week the game is played, and the weather.
Farrell says it's all about supply and demand. Dynamic ticket pricing allows the Cardinals to sell tickets they may not otherwise sell, and charge a premium for seats in games where demand is high.
"It gives us the ability to monitor how sales are going, what areas people are buying tickets, and make adjustments accordingly," said Farrell.
The program also includes the Dynamic Deal of the Day. That sounds pretty exciting. On the Cardinal website each day there will be a different daily offer. This is where we can we some great bargains and good values. I like the sound of that!!
Although ticket prices will go down, as well as up, they will never drop below the price season ticket holders paid. The Cardinals are the second major league team to use dynamic pricing. The first were the San Francisco Giants, last year.
So, does this change how much you will be going to the ball games? Do you think you will still attend less or more games due to the dynamic pricing?

Good Morning To You Too Mother Nature
This is what a lot of St. Louis woke up to this morning. White, bright and beautiful snow!
Look right out my front door at 9am with over 1 inch and still snowing.
My backyard looking onto the street.
The temperature is 34 and staying above freezing, but the snow is coming down so fast that it is accumulating.
My fellow St. Louis friends, did you plan on seeing this much snow? I know I didn't. I understand that snow is possible in March, but I certainly thought we were done for this season. Check out the local forecast for this week.
St. Louis Weather Thanks to Fox 2 News it looks like in a matter of 2 -3 days we could be climbing 25 - 30 degrees. At least St. Patty's Day looks nice. Man, I love the crazy St. Louis weather!!
How is your weather this week?

Sometimes You Just Need To Vent
Today I had a doctor's appointment 1:30. It was with a doctor I have been seening for years, but he had recently moved to a new location. I always like to leave with plenty of time just in case I get turned around and mixed up. That still happens to me living here in St. Louis. I decided to leave at 12:30. Traffic was pretty good on Hwy 40. Once I hit Clarkson Rd. that St. Louis lunch time traffic hit.
Please forgive me all of St. Louis if I did not merge from 40 onto Clarkson soon enough for you. The second before I was getting onto Clarkson I hear this obnoxious horn honking that would not stop. Then I see this huge SUV with this angry little man behind me and quickly to the left of me starring at me. WOW! Was it really worth all that?! This picture would not be complete without the "honkers" phone glued to his ear.

If you look closely you will see my speed is at 0 MPH. I am at a complete stop at a red light when I took this picture. Safety first I say. No texting for me while I drive. : )
Just thought I would share this photo. If you see this SUV or license coming. He could be in a hurry! ; )
