Kids Do The Sweetest Things

This morning as I was making sure Grace had all her things together and packed for school I noticed the sweetest little thing.  Grace usually prepares her own snack simply because she loves to help and why not if she can.  This morning was no different.  She had made her afternoon snack of pretzels and placed them in a Ziploc bag and placed them in her brown snack bag.  She always writes on her bag.  Something clever or funny and sometimes I even write things for fun.  As I check inside her book bag this is what I find:

How sweet is that!?!  She wrote her own little note to HER from ME!  She is just awesome!  I guess I am slacking in the surprise notes.  Ha!  I decided to surprise her with a sweet note in her lunch (which I know he secretly loves).

It reads, "Grace, Love you, miss you.  (((Hugs)))  -Mom I cannot wait to hear about her day and what she found when she gets home!
