My Little Home Improvement - Wooden Blinds

Something Doug and I had been wanting to do for a long time is change out all the blinds in our home.  Easier said then done.  Sure, I would love to have them all replaced at once, but blinds are not cheap.  We finally did the office tonight and I am so pleased with the results.  We decided to get the wooden blinds from Home Depot in Espresso.  We used our 10% off coupon (love these) that we recently received in the mail.  If I might add my hubby did a pretty awesome job hanging them.  Two down who knows how many more to go.

Doesn't my desk look nice?  I finally cleaned it today.  I should have done a before picture.  It was not pretty.  Notice the old blinds in the back?  I really like the look of the new ones.  : )

Last look before hubby takes them down.  See ya!!  We sure won't miss you at the Sutton home!!

Do you have any home improvements you are doing are plan to do in the near future?  We do have a few other projects lined up.  The next one is new RED blinds in the kitchen.  So excited for those to come in.  : )

  4. The new blinds look wonderful! It has always been amazing to me how big of a difference the nicer, wood blinds can make in a space.

My current project is refinishing my dresser. I've never done anything quite like this before, so I'm finding that it's taking a lot more time than I originally anticipated. I can't wait to see the finished result though.
