My Friday Was One Crazy Day!

Do you ever have one of those days where you don't even know where to begin when you finally sit down and write your post?  Man...that day is me now.  My Friday was One Crazy Day.
For starters here was my To Do List for the AM:  (not all day just MORNING)

  1. Get Grace up, ready and on the school bus.
  2. Deliver Avon to several new customers plus my existing customers (I love ALL my Avon customers.)
  3. Walk 40 -50 Avon books door to door.
  4. Send about 1,000 - 1,500 emails for work (hmm that sounds fun!)
  5. Go shopping for a birthday gift for Grace's friend.

Well, the morning started without any major problems.  Grace was a perfect sweetheart.  She got up, showered and was dressed with time to spare, love mornings like this.  We even had a little time to review her spelling words for her test.  Grace was off to school.

Then it all just fell apart.  I started my morning by eating leftover french fries, maybe that's where it went sour but I love leftovers for breakfast!!  It was 8:45 by now and I have already started on the emails.  {I work from which is totally awesome}  I worked until 10:00 and off to touch up my makeup.  Grabbed my Avon bags and everything I needed for my morning.

I kid you not...I set our alarm 3 times and reentered that damn house 4 times because I kept forgetting things.  WHAT THE HECK!  So frustrating.  Finally getting out of there was some sort of miracle!

The highlight was seeing all my wonderful Avon customers and chatting with them.  I have some truly great customers that I have enjoyed getting to know over the past several years.  It went surprisingly smooth and it was so fun meeting my new customers!  Yeah...good positive things!

Next it was time to walk door to door and deliver the Avon books.  It was 90+ degrees, I had flip flops on and I forgot my ice water.  I guess I could have gone back in for a 5th time, but that would have just been silly...right?  Anyway, I honestly enjoyed the walk and love putting the books out.  It is a good way for exercise and peace and quiet, but I just was not ready for the heat today.  So, now I return to my vehicle satisfied and excited to receive new customers yet I am hot, thirsty and sweaty.  So not fun!

Well, enough complaining for me.  I blasted that air conditioner, cooled myself down and was of to my next adventure!  I had awesome luck at Target while picking out the birthday gift.  I bought a Magic Tree House book and Pokemon cards.  Both at the request by Grace.  I love the Magic Tree House books for kids.  Great for imagination!  These Pokemon cards I just do not quite understand, but I know the kids love the,.

How was your Friday?  I hope a little better than mine.
